Installation Procedure

- Position the hood to the vehicle, with an assistant.
- Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
- Install the hood hinge to hood bolts, with an assistant.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
- Install the assist rod to the hood. Refer to Assist Rod Replacement - Hood .
- Adjust the hood, as required. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
