Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Support the exhaust system.
  4. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  5. Remove the oxygen sensor wiring harness (3) from the catalytic converter heat shield.

  7. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield rivets.
  8. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.
