Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the midgate structure (3) to the vehicle.

  2. Install the midgate hinges. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Midgate .

  3. Install the midgate electrical harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Midgate .
  4. Install the midgate latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Midgate .
  5. Install the midgate window channels. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Midgate .
  6. Install the midgate window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Midgate .

  7. Install the midgate window. Refer to Window Replacement - Midgate .

  8. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Panel Replacement - Inner .

  9. Install the lower center garnish molding (4). Refer to Molding Replacement - Endgate Center in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the rear folding floor trim panels. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Rear Folding in Seats.
  11. Close the midgate.
  12. Close the midgate window.
  13. Adjust the midgate window, if needed. Refer to Window Adjustment - Midgate .
  14. Reposition the second row seats.
