Installation Procedure

Install the digital radio receiver to the receiver bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the nuts (1) that secure the receiver to the bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

Connect the electrical connector (3) to the digital receiver (1).
Engage the electrical connector to the CPA.
Connect the antenna connector (2) to the digital receiver (1).
If removed, loosely install the mounting bolts to the bracket to a depth of 3-4 threads.

Align the receiver and bracket assembly to the keyhole slots in the rear reinforcement, with the electrical connection end towards the rear compartment floor.
Install the receiver mounting bolts (1) to the keyhole slots. Slide the receiver and bracket down.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Install the left rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Setup .
