Installation Procedure

  1. While supporting the tail/backup lamp assembly, install the tail/backup lamp harness grommet to the rear compartment lid.
  2. Install the tail/backup lamp.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the tail/backup lamp fasteners to the tail/backup lamp studs.

    Tighten:  Tighten the tail/backup lamp fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Connect the tail/backup lamp electrical connector.
  5. Connect the tail/backup lamp harness connector.
  6. Clip the connector to the metal edge of the rear compartment lid.
