Installation Procedure

  1. Install the backup lamp bulb into the lamp housing.
  2. While supporting the tail/backup lamp assembly, connect the electrical connector.
  3. While supporting the tail/backup lamp assembly, install the tail/backup lamp harness grommet to the rear compartment lid.
  4. Install the tail/backup lamp to the vehicle.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the tail/backup lamp fasteners to the tail/backup lamp studs.

    Tighten:  Tighten the tail/backup lamp fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  6. Connect the tail/backup lamp electrical connector.
  7. Clip the electrical connector to the metal edge of the rear compartment lid.
