Park Lock Cable
NOTE:
Lock cylinder must be in RUN position when park lock cable is removed from or inserted into ignition switch inhibitor.
Use gearshift lever to put column in PARK position. Turn ignition switch to OFF-LOCK position. Unlock adjuster ring on park lock cable assembly with Adjuster Ring Lock Pliers (J-41396). See Fig 1 . Pull on cable until park lock latch contacts gearshift lever. Release cable. Lock adjuster ring securely in place on park lock cable assembly with adjuster ring lock pliers. If system does not operate as specified, repeat adjustment procedure.
