Circuit Description

Non-volatile memory check sum write error detection is handled inside control module. No external circuits are involved. Microprocessor sets DTC if unable to write to non volatile memory. DTC is also set if microprocessor can not run an accurate check sum on non volatile memory. When DTC sets, theft deterrent control module will store DTC B2734 and SECURITY indicator light will be illuminated.
