Enter Programming Mode

To enter programming mode with Driver Information Center (DIC), perform the following actions:

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Place vehicle in Park.
  3. Press ENG/MET button for 5 seconds.
  4. The DIC displays WELCOME TO BUICK OPTION FEATURE, then PRESS ENG/MET TO SELECT OPTIONS, then PRESS RESET TO GO TO NEXT CHOICE.
  5. The DIC then displays DRIVER #: 1 2. An arrow is shown next to current driver.
  6. Press ENG/MET button in order to change driver # for this programming session.
  7. Press RESET button in order to advance to next option.
