Floor Console: Installation

  1. Install the console into the vehicle by sliding forward and fitting up to the instrument panel (IP).
  2. Install the fasteners from the console to the floor. See Figure .
  3. Tighten the fasteners to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m).
  4. Install the fasteners from the console to the IP. See Figure .
  5. Tighten the fasteners to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m).
  6. Connect the main wiring harness connector. See Figure .
  7. Connect the park lock cable (2) and the shift cable (1). See Figure .
  8. Install the console trim plate. See CONSOLE TRIM PLATE  .
  9. Install the console tray insert. See CONSOLE TRAY INSERT  .
  10. Install the IP cluster trim plate bezel. See CLUSTER TRIM PLATE BEZEL  .
