RESYNCHRONIZING Transmitters

NOTE: Resynchronizing transmitter is required if battery is changed in the transmitter or the vehicle battery has been low or disconnected for an extended period of time.
  1. Ensure transmitter battery is in good condition by pressing instant alarm button of RKE transmitter. If transmitter battery is good, horn will beep and lights flash. If horn does not beep and lights do not flash, transmitter battery is bad or RKE transmitter is malfunctioning. Transmitters can lose synchronization by either changing transmitter battery or depressing transmitter too many times while out of range of vehicle.
  2. To resynchronize RKE transmitter, Stand within 5 feet from vehicle. Press and hold RKE transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 7 seconds. Door locks should cycle to confirm synchronization. Repeat steps for each RKE transmitter to be resyncronized.
