DTC B1656: EEPROM Write Error: Testing

  1. If diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check was not performed, go to appropriate DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS .
  2. Replace affected module. Recheck system operation. Go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Reinstall all components. Clear DTCs. Go to appropriate DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS .
