Dual-Zone Control Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Pontiac Bonneville and 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

An air temperature switch is provided to allow passenger to independently adjust the temperature on right side of vehicle. To activate dual-zone mode, the passenger must turn the right air temperature switch to the desired temperature. The right air temperature switch can be turned ON and OFF by pressing the switch. Greater sunload on one side of the vehicle may cause the discharge air temperatures to be different, even when the HVAC system is not operating in a dual-zone mode.
