Installation Procedure

  1. Install the recirculation actuator.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the recirculation actuator retaining screws (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the recirculation actuator.

  4. Position the DIM module bracket to the original position.
  5. Install the rear two DIM module bracket screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

  6. Install the DIM module into the bracket.
  7. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  8. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  9. Recalibrate the actuator. Refer to Re-Calibrating Actuators .
