Power Roof Diagnostic System Check

- Attempt to enter Body Control Module (BCM) self-diagnostic mode, by using SECURITY indicator. See RETRIEVING BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . If BCM self-diagnostic mode can be entered and DTCs are retrieved, go to next step. If BCM self-diagnostic mode cannot be entered and DTCs are not retrieved, perform TEST C: CANNOT ENTER BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTICS under SYSTEM TESTS.
- If DTCs 12 and 55 are retrieved, go to next step. If DTCs 12 and 55 are not retrieved, perform TEST C: CANNOT ENTER BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTICS under SYSTEM TESTS.
- If DTCs 25 and 35 are not retrieved, go to next step. If DTCs 25 and 35 are retrieved, repair anti-theft system. See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS - CAMARO & FIREBIRD article.
- If DTC 35 is not retrieved with DTC 25, go to next step. If DTC 35 is retrieved with DTC 25, repair anti-theft system as necessary. See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS - CAMARO & FIREBIRD article.
- If any other DTCs are retrieved, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . If nor DTCs are retrieved, repair power convertible top by symptom. See POWER CONVERTIBLE TOPS - CAMARO & FIREBIRD article.
