BCM monitors traction control switch to determine engagement of traction control feature. BCM ignores traction control switch input until fault condition is no longer present.

A current DTC B2747 will clear if BCM no longer detects a short to ground for 60 seconds. A history code B2747 will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles if conditions for setting DTC are no longer present. A scan tool may be used to clear DTC B2747.
