DTC B1334: Device Power No. 2 (Low Current #2) Circuit Open: Testing
- Perform BCM diagnostic system check. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
- Install scan tool to DLC. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Observe BATTERY POWER 2 parameter in BCM input data list. If scan tool displays ACTIVE for both parameters, go to DIAGNOSTIC AIDS . If scan tool does not display ACTIVE for both parameters, go to next step.
- Test battery feed circuit that did not display ACTIVE in step 2) . See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair appropriate wire as required. If fault is located and repaired, go to step 6 . If fault is not located and condition still exists, go to next step.
- Inspect for poor connections at Natural BCM harness connector C4. Ensure the harness and connector are fully tested for intermittent faults. If fault is located and repaired, go to step 6 . If fault is not located and condition still exists, go to next step.
- Replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After replacement, perform set up procedure. See NEW BCM SETUP under PROGRAMMING. After replacement, go to next step.
- Operate vehicle within conditions to set DTC. If DTC B1334 resets, return to step 2 . If DTC B1334 does not reset, system is okay. Use scan tool to clear DTCs.
