DTC B1334: Device Power No. 2 (Low Current #2) Circuit Open: Testing

  1. Perform BCM diagnostic system check. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Install scan tool to DLC. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Observe BATTERY POWER 2 parameter in BCM input data list. If scan tool displays ACTIVE for both parameters, go to DIAGNOSTIC AIDS  . If scan tool does not display ACTIVE for both parameters, go to next step.
  3. Test battery feed circuit that did not display ACTIVE in step 2)  . See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair appropriate wire as required. If fault is located and repaired, go to step  6 . If fault is not located and condition still exists, go to next step.
  4. Inspect for poor connections at Natural BCM harness connector C4. Ensure the harness and connector are fully tested for intermittent faults. If fault is located and repaired, go to step  6 . If fault is not located and condition still exists, go to next step.
  5. Replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After replacement, perform set up procedure. See NEW BCM SETUP  under PROGRAMMING. After replacement, go to next step.
  6. Operate vehicle within conditions to set DTC. If DTC B1334 resets, return to step  2 . If DTC B1334 does not reset, system is okay. Use scan tool to clear DTCs.
