Right Outside Mirror Does Not Move Manually
NOTE:
After repair or component replacement is completed, perform appropriate MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING
to verify system is functioning properly.
- Perform POWER MIRROR MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Go to next step.
- Using mirror select switch, select right mirror. Using test light, backprobe between memory seat/mirror switch Black, 16-pin connector terminals "A" (Orange wire) and "C" (Purple/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
- Using test light, backprobe between memory seat/mirror switch connector terminals "A" (Orange wire) and "E" (Red/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
- Using test light, backprobe between memory seat/mirror switch connector terminal "A" (Orange wire) and memory seat/mirror control Blue, 32-pin connector C1, terminal D7 (Purple/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go tostep 8).
- Using test light, backprobe between memory seat/mirror switch connector terminal "A" (Orange wire) and memory seat/mirror module connector C1, terminal C4 (Red/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 9).
- Replace memory seat/mirror module. See MEMORY SEAT/MIRROR MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Replace memory seat/mirror switch. See POWER SWITCHES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Repair open in Purple/White wire between memory seat/mirror switch connector and memory seat/mirror module connector C1.
- Repair open in Red/White wire between memory seat/mirror switch connector and memory seat/mirror module connector C1.
