One Mirror Does Not Move Up & Down For Manual & Recall Functions

NOTE: After repair or component replacement is completed, perform appropriate MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING  to verify system is functioning properly.
  1. Perform POWER MIRROR MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Go to next step.
  2. Disconnect left/right outside mirror connector. Connect a fused jumper wire between left/right outside mirror terminal "D" (Yellow wire) and battery voltage. Connect another fused jumper wire between left outside mirror terminal "C" (Light Green wire) or right outside mirror terminal "C" (Purple/White wire) and ground. If up/down motor runs, go to next step. If up/down motor does not run, go to step 6).
  3. Disconnect memory seat/mirror module Gray, 6-pin connector C3. Using DVOM, check resistance between memory seat/mirror module harness connector C3, terminal "C" (Light Green wire) and left/right outside mirror terminal "D" (Light Green wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go tostep 7).
  4. Check resistance between memory seat/mirror module harness connector C3, terminal "C" (Yellow wire) and left/right outside mirror terminal "D" (Yellow wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to step 8).
  5. Replace memory seat/mirror module. See MEMORY SEAT/MIRROR MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  6. Replace left outside mirror. See appropriate POWER MIRRORS article.
  7. Repair open in Light Green or Purple/White wire between memory seat/mirror module connector C3 and left/right outside mirror.
  8. Repair open in Yellow wire between memory seat/mirror module connector C3 and left/right outside mirror.
