NOTE: The Body Control Module (BCM) may also be referred to as Standard Body Module (SBM).

The memory system includes memory seats and mirrors. An option package (WO1 seating package) available includes a combination of power lumbar (AL2), seat and mirror heating. The Memory Seat Module (MSM) controls movement of 3 seat position motors, one recline motor, 2 lumbar position motors and one headrest motor. The memory mirrors function independently of memory seat. All motors have a position sensor, and work independently of each other.

MSM has memory to retain positions for 2 different drivers. MSM contains class 2 circuitry, which allows it to interface with other modules on the class 2 serial data line. Class 2 bus messages for the MSM include the following:
