This DTC cannot be retrieved as a current code. To test a current DTC U1255, go to SCAN TOOL DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH CLASS 2 SERIAL DATA LINE  . An intermittent malfunction may be caused by an intermittent short to ground on class 2 serial data line.
