Diagnostic System Check

NOTE: Perform this check before diagnosing symptoms.
  1. Move front height switch up and down. Front of seat should move up and down. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to FRONT HEIGHT UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  2. Move rear height switch up and down. Rear of seat should move up and down. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to REAR HEIGHT UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  3. Move lumbar switch up and down. Lumbar support should move up and down. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to LUMBAR SUPPORT UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  4. Move lumbar switch in and out. Lumbar support should move in and out. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to LUMBAR SUPPORT IN/OUT FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  5. Move entire seat switch forward and back. Entire seat should move forward and back. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to ENTIRE SEAT FORWARD/BACK FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  6. Move recline switch up and down. Seatback should recline up and down. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to RECLINER UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  7. Move head restraint switch up and down. Head restraint should move up and down. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to HEAD RESTRAINT UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  .
  8. Move seat to a random position. Press DRIVER 1 on door memory switch. Wait until seat movement is finished. Press DRIVER 2 on door memory switch. Wait until seat movement is finished. Press EXIT on door memory switch. Wait until seat movement is finished. Press UNLOCK on first keyless entry transmitter. Wait until seat movement is finished. Press UNLOCK on other keyless entry transmitter. Seat should move to all memorized positions. If seat operates as specified, system is operating properly. If seat does not operate as specified, go to SEAT DOES NOT PERFORM ALL PERSONALIZED MEMORY FUNCTIONS  .
