Strut Assembly: Reassembly

Install lower insulator, coil spring, dust shield and jounce bumper. Lower spring coil end must be visible between step and first retention tab of insulator. Install upper strut mount. Upper spring coil end must be located between step and location mark on upper strut mount. Attach Alignment Rod (J-35668) to strut shaft, and compress spring slightly. Pull strut shaft through mount and remove alignment rod. Install strut shaft nut and washer, tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
