Front Suspension: Description

The front suspension is a MacPherson strut type with stabilizer bar. See Figure or Figure . The strut tube is welded to a stamped steel steering knuckle. Lower ball joints are riveted to steering knuckles. The steering pivot bearing is located in lower spring seat. Replacement strut cartridges can be installed from under hood without removing strut assembly.
