Diagnosis & Testing: Notes

The EBTCM has self-diagnostic capability, which can detect system failures. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored by EBTCM can be displayed using a scan tool. Refer to scan tool manufacturer's operation manual for instructions in use of scan tool. Begin VES system diagnosis with PRE-DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION  procedure.
