Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

To determine application of torque converter clutch, PCM receives and processes information from various input devices. These devices may include vehicle speed sensor, coolant temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, 3rd gear switch and brake switch. PCM controls application of torque converter clutch by providing a ground circuit for TCC solenoid.
