Front Door Lock Switch Output Test

  1. Disconnect front door lock switch 3-pin connector. Ensure battery voltage is present between connector terminal "B" (Orange wire) and ground. If battery voltage is not present, check relay center fuse No. 2 and Orange wire for an open or short circuit to ground.
  2. If battery voltage is present, connect a fused jumper wire between front door lock switch connector terminal "B" (Orange wire) and terminal "C" (Light Blue wire). If doors do not lock, check Light Blue wire for an open or short circuit to ground.
  3. If doors lock, connect a fused jumper wire between front door lock switch terminal "B" (Orange wire) and terminal "A" (White wire).
  4. If no doors unlock, check White wire for an open or short circuit to ground. If all doors unlock, check suspect front door lock switch connector for good terminal contact. If terminal contact is okay, replace front door lock switch.
