Lock Function Inoperative (Unlock Function Operative) From

BOTH DOOR LOCK SWITCHES

  1. Use a test light and backprobe power door lock relay connector between terminal "A" (Light Blue wire) and ground. Move door lock switch to lock.
  2. If test light does not glow, repair open circuit in power door lock relay Light Blue wire. If test light glows, check for poor connection at power door lock relay connector terminal "A" (Light Blue wire). If connection is okay, replace door lock relay.


ONE DOOR LOCK SWITCH

  1. Use a test light and backprobe inoperative door lock switch connector between terminal "F" (Light Blue wire) and ground. Move door lock switch to lock.
  2. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection at inoperative door lock switch. If connection is okay, replace inoperative door lock switch. If test light glows, repair open circuit in door lock switch Light Blue wire.
