Wipers Do Not Operate In Any Mode
- Disconnect wiper/washer switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect a test light between wiper/washer switch connector terminal "B" and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, check for open in fuse No. 10 or circuit No. 143 (Yellow wire). If fuse and circuit are okay, check for open power feed circuit No. 4.
- Disconnect wiper motor module connector C2. Connect a test light between connector C2 terminal "C" and battery voltage. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, check for open in ground circuit No. 350 (Black wire).
- Reconnect wiper/washer switch connector. Disconnect wiper motor module connector C1. Connect a test light between connector C1 terminal "C" and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, check for poor connection at wiper/washer switch connector No. C216 or connector No. C204 and for open circuit No. 95 (Dark Green wire). If connections and circuit are okay, replace wiper/washer switch.
- Turn wiper/washer switch to LO position. Connect a test light between C1 terminal "B" and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, check for poor connection at wiper/washer switch connector C216 or connector C204, or for an open in circuit No. 91 (Gray wire). If connection and circuit are okay, replace wiper/washer switch assembly.
- Check for continuity between wiper motor connector C1 and terminal "A", and between connector C2 and terminal "B". If there is continuity, check for poor connection at wiper motor assembly connectors. If okay, replace wiper motor cover assembly. If trouble is not corrected, replace wiper motor assembly. If there is no continuity, repair open in circuit No. 196 (Yellow wire).
