Test M - Pump On Request Circuit

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect EBCM/EBTCM connector and connect Pinout Box (J-38716). Measure resistance between pinout box terminals No. 5 and 26. See Figure . Resistance should be less than 3 ohms.
  2. If resistance is not as specified, check for open in circuits No. 848 (Tan wire) and No. 853 (Light Blue/Black wire). If circuits are okay, check TCC/anti-lock brake switch connector and EBCM/EBTCM connector for proper terminal contact. If terminal contacts are okay, replace EBCM/EBTCM. After repairs are complete, clear codes and repeat ABS/TCS functional check. See Figure .
