Test B (Wiper Motor Module): Century
- Disconnect rear wiper motor module. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Move rear wiper/washer switch to WIPE position. Ensure tailgate is closed. Measure voltage between wiper motor module connector terminal "A" (Orange/Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check Orange/Black wire for open.
- Measure voltage between rear wiper motor module connector terminal "A" (Orange/Black wire) and terminal "B" (Black wire). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check Black wire for open to ground.
- Measure voltage between rear wiper motor module connector terminal "C" (Gray/Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check tailgate lock switch, Gray wire and Gray/Black wire for open(s).
- Remove rear wiper motor module. See WIPER MOTOR MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Apply battery voltage to wiper motor module connector terminals "A" and "D". See Figure . Ground terminal "C". Motor should run. If motor runs, go to next step. If motor does not run, replace wiper motor module.
- Apply battery voltage to terminal "B". Ground terminal "C". Motor should park. If motor does not park, replace wiper motor module.
