Remote Keyless Entry System

The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system can arm and disarm the theft deterrent system. To check the arming procedure, close all doors and turn the ignition OFF. While observing the SECURITY indicator lamp, depress the lock button on the RKE transmitter. The security lamp should glow for about 2-6 seconds to confirm arming. Depress the UNLOCK button on the RKE transmitter to disarm the system. When the door is opened the alarm should not activate.
