Test C: Window Lock-Out Switch Continuity Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove driver's door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect 2-pin master switch assembly connector C2. See Figure .
  2. Check for continuity between master switch C2 terminals "A" and "B" (component side). Continuity should exist with switch in unlock position and continuity should not exist with switch in lock position. If continuity is not as specified, replace master switch. If continuity is as specified, switch is okay. Check master switch assembly connector C2 for proper terminal contact. Check wiring to rear and/or right front window switch(es).
