Master Cylinder Push Rod
- With master cylinder removed from brake booster, start engine and allow it to idle. Place Push Rod Height Gauge (J-37839) over master cylinder push rod, and check for minimum push rod length.
- Reverse gauge, and check for maximum push rod length. If push rod does not meet maximum or minimum length, replace or adjust push rod as necessary. Reinstall master cylinder. Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
