Code E014: Coolant Temp Sensor Too High: Notes

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.

Test Number 1) Code E014 will set if signal voltage indicates a coolant temperature greater than 282°F (130°C) for .4 second and engine run time is greater than 10 seconds.

Test Number 2) This test will determine if circuit No. 410 is shorted to ground which will cause the conditions for Code E014. If Code E014 is set, the ECM will use 119°F (48.6°C) for fuel control.
