Temperature Guide Modes
The various temperature LEDs on the top bar of Electra and LeSabre wagons and all Regal and Skyhawk control head panels should be used only as guides to select a particular temperature setting, regardless of outside ambient temperature.
Control head guide settings are spaced out between 65°F (18°C) and 85°F (29°C) with 1° increments. Electra and LeSabre sedans use a digital fluorescent display. To change temperature on all models, push the "WARMER" or "COOLER" switch until the LED under the desired degree setting lights up.
When the "65°" selection is made, automatic adjustment is locked out and the system operates at full cooling capacity. The blower fan will operate on high speed and the recirculation door will be closed. Temperatures will drop well below 65°F (18.3°C). This will continue until some other selection is made.
The reverse is also true when the "85°" selection is made. The system will operate at full heating and will exceed 85°F (29°C). This will continue until some other selection is made.
