Engine Identification

V8 engines can be identified by the first two letters in the production code number located at left side of block, below front two spark plugs (350" engines) and on left side of block below two rear spark plugs (455" engines). Code letters are as follows:

350" 2-Bbl. TC, TO
350" 4-Bbl. TB, TP
455" 4-Bbl. TR, TA
455" 4-Bbl. (Stage 1) TS
