Installing the lid of electrical machine electronics
- Have the special tool 2 469 803 ready.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The pot life of the liquid sealing compound must last maximum 10 min.
Commissioning of the assembly is not possible until 25 minutes after the processing time.
In the event of failure to observe this instruction, leaks in the assembly may result.

- Position the sealing compound (1)
as shown on the special tool 2 469 803
.

NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The sealing surfaces of the housing and the cover differ geometrically in some places.
The sealing surface of the cover is predominantly narrower than the sealing surface of the housing. In addition, the sealing surfaces of the housing and the cover may contain additional recesses.
To ensure complete sealing of both sealing surfaces, apply sealing bead to the cover as shown in the illustration.

- Apply seal packing (1) to the cover as shown by the black line.
- After applying the seal packing (1) , check that the seal packing (1) on the cover aligns with the black line shown in the figure.
- If necessary, correct the seal packing (1) .

- Position the lid on the housing.
- Turn screws (1) until hand-tight.
- Tighten the screws (1) .

Installing the left mounting bracket
- Install the left mounting bracket (4) .
- Tighten down screw (3) .
