Install engine compartment fan
- When replacing the engine compartment fan: Remount the temperature sensor (1).
- Unclip temperature sensor (1) from the engine compartment fan.
- Check the temperature sensor for damage and, if necessary, replace it.
- Clip in temperature sensor on the engine compartment fan.
- Install engine compartment fan (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).

- Tighten down screw (3).

- Connect the connector (2) on the temperature sensor and clip in the cable on the fan cowl.
- Connect connector (1).
- Install the sound insulation (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).

- Install engine compartment fan (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).

- Tighten down screw (3).
- Connect connector (2) on the temperature sensor and clip in cable on the fan cowl.
- Connect connector (1) for the engine compartment fan.

- Install the sound insulation (2).

Reading out the fault memory
- Connect diagnostic system.
Check
- Read out fault memory.
Result
» A fault memory entry is present.
Measure
- Delete the fault memory, work through the test module if applicable.
