• Grind down the residue from the weld seam (1).

  Check 

• Check surface (1) around the weld seam for cracks.

  Result 

  » Weld seams or panel cracked.

  Measure

• Renew the front axle module.
• Drill a hole (1) with a 13 mm diameter.
• Set M10 blind rivet nut.

• Shorten the connector (1) to dimension a.

  Dimension a=14, 7 mm

• Drill a hole (1) for the connector (2) with a 10.5 mm diameter.

• Position the connector (2) between the stiffening plate (1) and the front axle module.

  Fasten the stiffening plate (1) using the washer (3) and the screw (4).

  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION 

  Thrust field to front axle support
  M8	Tightening torque	28 Nm
