Programming the control unit (DME/DDE) (M5 2018-2022)

Switch off ignition  .

Connect diagnostic system.

Switch the ignition on.

Select "Programming".

Follow the instructions in the diagnostic system.

Adjust the following control units:

• EWS (electronic immobilizer)
• DME (Digital Motor Electronics) or
• DDE (Digital Diesel Electronics)
