Removing steering column shroud lower section

Preliminary work 

• Refer to ADJUSTING THE STEERING COLUMN POSITION .
• Refer to REMOVING STEERING COLUMN SHROUD UPPER SECTION .

• Press the retaining lug (1) downwards in the direction of the arrow and at the same time unclip the steering column trim lower part (2) in the direction of the arrow downwards out of the holders (3)

• Tilt the steering column trim lower part downwards
• Unlock and disconnect connector (1)

• Release the wire (1) from the holders (2)
• Remove the steering column trim lower part (3)
