Removal & Installation

  1. Remove front left seat.52 13 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (NORMAL/MANUAL)
  2. Detach rubber seal (1). Partially remove side panel, B-pillar (2). Fold back footwell carpet to one side and expose DSC sensor (3). See Fig 1.
  3. Unlock and disconnect plug (1). Release screws (2) and remove sensor. See Fig 2.
  4. NOTE: This is a vibration sensitive component. Implement screw connection correctly or there may be malfunctions in the DSC.
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
