Brief component description: Headlight

The lighting functions are partitioned to 2 headlights on each side of vehicle. The headlights are described as follows:

• Left low-beam headlight and right low-beam headlight
• Halogen headlight of left high-beam headlight and halogen headlight of right high-beam headlight (with integrated lighting function for turn indicator)

Depending on the national-market version and vehicle equipment, the low-beam headlight are available e.g. in the following version:

• Low-beam headlight with halogen headlights and LED light without fibre-optic conductor (also called: halogen headlight)
  • Halogen headlights for the lighting function of the driving light
  • LED light for the lighting function of the side light and daytime driving lights
• Low-beam headlight with halogen headlights and LED light with fibre-optic conductor (also called: halogen headlight)
  • Halogen headlights for the lighting function of the driving light
  • LED light for the lighting function of the side light and daytime driving lights
• Low-beam headlight with LED light and LED light with fibre-optic conductor (also called: LED headlight)
  • LED light for the lighting function of the driving light
  • LED light for the lighting function of the side light and daytime driving lights

The high-beam headlight and indicator light lighting function (turn indicator) is integrated in the halogen headlight of the high-beam headlight. A halogen bulb is installed for the high-beam headlight lighting function. The indicator light lighting function (turn indicator) is generated by a bulb.

For the US version, the side marker light is integrated in the low-beam headlight.
