Central locking drive of the engine compartment lid with engine compartment lid contact switch

There is a luggage compartment under the engine compartment lid. This is why the engine compartment lid is locked by a central locking drive.

The central locking drive of the engine compartment lid is activated by the Body Domain Controller (BDC). The central locking drive is connected via a 2-pin plug connection.

The ID transmitter can be used to engage and release the central locking system.

The engine compartment lid contact switch is integrated on the lock of the engine compartment lid. The engine compartment lid contact switch tells the Body Domain Controller (BDC), if the engine compartment lid is closed. The engine compartment lid contact switch is connected via a three-pin plug connection.

The unlocking of the engine compartment lid is blocked while driving. If the engine compartment lid was electrically unlocked, the retaining hook must be unlocked from this position.
