A soiled lens can lead to a poor representation. In extreme cases, the camera can no longer evaluate video signals. This means a soiled lens can lead to a system failure. To prevent an incorrect diagnosis, the optical elements of the camera must be clean.

The rear view camera, top view camera and front cameras are connected to the TRSVC control unit via Ethernet. The TRSVC control unit communicates with the cameras via Ethernet. This means fault entries for the cameras in the all-round vision camera control unit can be read out. The cameras can also be encoded by the all-round vision camera control unit after replacement.
