Low-beam headlight with LED light: Notes

Notice! The lighting functions of each side of the vehicle are partitioned to 2 headlights (low-beam headlight and halogen high-beam headlight). 

Depending on the vehicle equipment, the low-beam headlight is available with the LED light or with the halogen headlights. Only the low-beam headlight with LED light is described in this service information (also called: LED headlight).

The LED headlights are used for the exterior lighting (LED stands for light-emitting diode). LEDs are construction components made from semiconductors. In the LED, the energy from the electrical current is converted into light energy. As the individual LEDs emit a smaller quantity of light than incandescent bulbs, several LEDs are usually bundled and interconnected in so-called LED modules.
