Climate control: Notes

In this functional description the heating and air conditioning system (1-zone control) is described for following versions:

• Integrated heating/air-conditioning regulation (IHKR) without automatic function
• Integrated automatic heating and climate system (IHKA) with the following automatic functions:
  • Blower control
  • Air distribution
  • Sunlight compensation
  • Recirculated air flap control
  • Condensation prevention.

Depending on the optional equipment, air conditioning is available with or without heat pump.

The coolant temperature in the heater circuit is regulated via an electric auxiliary heater.

The control unit of the Air conditioning is located on the heating and air-conditioning unit. This allows the control panel of the heating and air conditioning system to be separate from the control unit.

The audio operating unit and the control panel of the Air conditioning are one entire unit, called: Control panel for audio mode/heating and air conditioning system.
