Diagnosis instructions

Swapping with control units from other vehicles is not possible. The Body Domain Controller (BDC) can only be ordered as a new part. The Body Domain Controller (BDC) is supplied already encoded to the vehicle.

Adjustment of the electronic immobilizer is not necessary.

NOTE: Once a Body Domain Controller (BDC) has been installed, start-up must be carried out with the help of the diagnosis system. When the Body Domain Controller (BDC) is replaced, the integrated central gateway module (ZGM) is also replaced. Therefore the central gateway module (ZGM) must also be started up. In the course of this, for example, the configuration of the vehicle and the FlexRay connection are relearned.
