Central locking button

A central locking button is installed in the driver's door and front passenger door (USA, China) front door trim panel. This installation position makes it easier to unlock and lock the doors.

The central locking button is a rocker switch.

As a result it is always clear which function is activated for the corresponding keystroke.

Each door can also be unlocked by pulling the door opener.

The central locking button is connected to the Body Domain Controller (BDC) by a 4-pin plug connection.
